Join us for introductory diabetes classes and learn about the basics of nutrition and diabetes management. These classes are for the newly diagnosed person with diabetes but can also be helpful for someone who has had diabetes and would like a refresher course. Learn more about diabetes, nutrition and healthy habits from our experienced registered dietitian Victoria Pacheco, RD, from the Community Outreach Department at USC Arcadia Hospital. She works with a variety of patients to provide nutritional counseling that include clients with gestational diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and weight management issues.
The course is completed in one class. You may select any date that is convenient for you.

SATURDAY CLASSES
Location: Lewis Hall

DIRECTIONS to the hospital
- From 210 Fwy (Foothill Freeway):
- Exit Santa Anita Avenue and head south
- Turn right on Huntington Drive and stay in the left lane
- The hospital will be on your left
- Park in Lot D near the Red Cross building
- The classrooms are located north of Lot D and west of the parking structure
- Classes will be held in Classroom 3 or Lewis Hall
