RN New Grad Training Program
The RN New Grad Training Program at USC Arcadia Hospital is offered twice a year in April and September.
Application periods:
- Applications for the September start date are available in June/July.
- Applications for the April start date are available in December/January.

- Neurology/Stroke/Oncology Telemetry
- Respiratory Telemetry
- Cardiac Telemetry
- Post-Surgical Inpatient Telemetry

As an RN New Grad, you are hired into the facility as a full-time employee. Upon successful completion of this paid training program, you will be prepared to work as a full-time, independent professional RN on your unit.
What are the Requirements to Qualify for the RN New Grad Training Program?
- Active California RN License
- Less than one year of acute care hospital-based experience as a licensed RN prior to start
- A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare provider from the American Heart Association
- An Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification for healthcare provider from the American Heart Association
